On 30th March 2016, Kalpavruksha Kshetra, Mysuru, hosted a spiritually significant event —
Prathistapana Poorva Samarambha, marking the formal beginning of preparations for the upcoming Prathistapana Mahotsava scheduled from 19th to 26th & 30th April 2016.
This preparatory event was graced by the presence of revered saints and scholars from various mathas across the Madhwa sampradaya.
The highlight of the occasion was the invitation and visit of
Jagadguru Sriman Madhwacharya Moola Mahasamsthana, Mantralaya
Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt’s Peethadhipathi,
Sri Sri 1008 Sri Subudhendra Teertha Sripadangalavaru, marking his first-ever visit to Mysuru.
The event featured:
- A grand welcome rally with vedic chanting, cultural troupes, and bhajana mandalis
- Padha Pooja to His Holiness
- A ceremonial Tula Bara
- Formal invitation of all saints for the Prathistapana Mahotsava
- Special Mangalacharana and Ashirvachana
The spiritual energy and community participation in this event laid a strong foundation for the grand Prathistapana that followed in April.
