In April 2016, Kalpavruksha Kshetra in Mysuru witnessed a grand spiritual and cultural celebration during the Mruttika Brindavana Pratishthapana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamy, organized with deep devotion and meticulous planning.
The event commenced on April 19th with a majestic procession to welcome Sri Sri 1008 Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji, the Peetadhipathi of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha, Mantralaya. Over the following days, the Mahotsava featured the Pratishthapana of the Mruttika Brindavana, daily Matha Poojas by revered Swamijis from various Madhwa mathas, Brahmakalashabhisheka, and spiritual discourses by esteemed scholars.
Cultural evenings enriched the celebrations with performances in Carnatic music, veena, flute, Yakshagana, and devotional dance dramas. Highlights included Dasamruta Bhakti Sangeet, Bhagavata pravachanas, and the presence of distinguished guests like Padma Vibhushan Justice M.N. Venkatachalaiah.
The concluding day, April 30th, marked a divine finale with the auspicious celebration of Srinivasa Kalyana, symbolizing the celestial wedding of Lord Srinivasa. The event drew large gatherings of devotees and was a harmonious blend of bhakti (devotion), jnana (knowledge), and seva (service).
