In the culturally rich city of Mysuru, many dream of experiencing soulful solace. This has naturally created a demand for residential spaces, which led to the founding of Nirrmaan Promoters — one of the state’s most prestigious land developers.
The Visionary
Shri K.R. Nagendra, founder of Nirrmaan Promoters, comes from a family deeply rooted in religious values and is a devout follower of Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy. He has personally organized numerous cultural and religious events.

The Foundation of Kalpavruksha
To bring people together for spiritual and social causes, Shri K.R. Nagendra, Shri Guruling Prasad and Smt Shantha R, together have established the “Kalpavruksha Foundation”. The Kalpavruksha Kshetra, a dedicated temple for Sri Raghavendra Swamy, was constructed in the year 2016 in a very short span of 10 months at Nirrmaan Nagar under Kalpavruksha Foundation. It serves as a sacred space for devotees and the community, offering:
- A fully functional hall equipped for auspicious events such as marriages, homa and havanas
- Facilities for orthodox lunch (Teertha Prasada) and prasada distribution
- Regular bhajans, religious and cultural programs on Thursdays and other auspicious days
- A divine atmosphere for spiritual growth and religious observances
Annadana
The Madhyaradhana day of the 342nd Aradhana of Sri Raghavendra Swamy marked a spiritually significant moment, highlighted by a divine encounter that reaffirmed the sacred importance of Annadana—the act of feeding the hungry. Considered one of the highest forms of charity, Annadana not only nourishes the body but also uplifts the soul.
Inspired by this divine message, the Kalpavruksha Foundation conducts Annadana every Thursday at Kalpavruksha Kshetra, Nirrmaan Nagar, where thousands of people are served freshly prepared meals. This regular initiative has become a pillar of community service, drawing devotees and volunteers alike. Plans are now in motion to extend these services to nearby villages, expanding the reach and impact of this noble effort.
In addition to weekly meals, the Foundation supports 50 underprivileged families by providing 25 kg of rice every month. These initiatives reflect the organization’s commitment to compassion, service, and the continued legacy of Sri Raghavendra Swamy’s teachings.
Educational and Spiritual Outreach
The Kalpavruksha Foundation is deeply committed to both educational and spiritual upliftment. Through its various outreach programs, the foundation aims to nurture young minds while preserving and promoting the rich spiritual heritage of India. By supporting students with essential learning materials and initiating welfare programs, and by spreading devotional awareness through temple contributions and large-scale spiritual initiatives, the foundation bridges the realms of knowledge and devotion with purpose and compassion.
